Thanks! Actually this truck has a really crappy paint job on it. The factory color was the navy blue from what I can tell and someone did a backyard paintjob on the white stripe. I am considering getting the body work done on this and then repainting it to factory color...add some chrome trim n alcoa's and thsi would be one sharp rig...

Now for a couple of issues I have found. The rear doors (both) dont open. I took the inside panel off and the door handle is moving the rod to the latch, but nothing is happening. What can I do next? Also, the E brake pedal is all the way up and is jammed to the point that its bent and I am not sure how to unlock it...the headlights work fine, but when I switch it to highbeam the headlights go really dim like there is a short somewhere, but the rest of the lights stay normal...any ideas guys??

Well I can offer my advice on the headlight problem. Idk it could be somethin else but mine did the same thing as yours is doing and it ended up being the dimmer switch on the floor. And for the doors and e brake id tear them apart and clean all parts. And get them free'd up.

Now that i think about it though, I guess your dimmer is on the column with that newer dash? So if thats the case then maybe not the same as when my floor dimmer switch was acting up:dunno Nice truck btw, Im kinda jeolous;Sweet

Yea, they took the dimmer off the floor and its now on the signal light arm on the column...and there is no separate fuse for the headlights on this truck grr

Check out that orange boot that goes into the turbo. It is notorious for tearing. There is an updated replacement from Ford (black boot). Also, check the air box. Sometimes the studs will break out of the bottom or the nuts on top may strip out if they are still the plastic ones.

The front axle alone is around 800-1000 dollars. You sir currently have my dream truck that I am trying to build right now.
