I'm trying to find anyone heading southeast from Oregon preferably to somewhere near Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana. Oklahoma would also work for me. I think the crewcab would handle the trip to any of those. I'm trying to get something arranged to transport an engine I want to buy from k_williams up in Oregon down to me in Texas.

I can handle the anchor leg since I am in Huntsville, TX, and I drive through Beaumont on my way home on the weekends. I don't mind going say 50 miles out of town in any direction, so let me know if I can help.

I have to contact the guy with the engine today and arrange a pickup date with him, and that will give a better time frame for the pickup/destination date. I live right in the middle of Oregon, but pretty sure I should be able to "juggle" my schedule to allow me to transport it to to at least the California or Idaho border, so if someone can pick it up there from me, we might even be able to "chain-gang" it the rest of the trip. I'll keep everyone updated.

Thanks man. I need to get the rest of the trip figured out. If you want next time your on the way home for the weekend give me a heads up and we can throw the timing meter on the truck to see where it's running at and if it needs adjusted up at all.
