Be sure to only use a Motorcraft thermostat. Again, quality issues.
It may be, it may not be.I got a t-stat from napa, is that not a good one?
Russ recommended IDI Diesel & I've bought from IDI & was happy. Is IDIdiesel a reliable source for glow plug kits?
I ordered a kit for the holley blue pump from moose diesel but I didn't really do my homework. How do you handle the return pressure? I have 2 tanks. It's getting harder and harder to find quality mechanical lift pumps these days. That's one reason why. I had a lift pump get weak and take out my injector pump last year. Granted, it was 9 years old and whatever Auto Zone had on the shelf at that time. I said that as long as it lasted, I was going to stick with it. That time is over so I'm using a Holley blue.
YachtTech82, the facet pumps are know to have serious quality control issues these days and have been known to be weak or bad right out of the box. Just a FYI. I also have an Auto Meter fuel pressure gauge installed before my factory fuel filter to keep an eye on the e pump. That's something that I now recommend to everyone along with a vacuum gauge to keep an eye on your vacuum pump. It works. I got to watch a vacuum pump die slowly so I wasn't surprised by the lack of vacuum assist for the brakes.
It needs a regulator. That's all. The one I bought on Ebay came with a regulator. Other than that, it's just like the mechanical pump. It returns through your factory return lines.I ordered a kit for the holley blue pump from moose diesel but I didn't really do my homework. How do you handle the return pressure? I have 2 tanks.
