Looking at other threads and posts, it seems like I found the magnet for the drain plug and not some giant chunk of metal, correct? Dang. Guess I'll need to put it back during the next fluid change

I have a gear vendor I dragged home from PNP out of a 89 F-250 4 years ago. Still sitting on the shop floor, been looking for a T-19
adaptor, came with a C-6 Adaptor.
Don`t know if it has a Magnet or not.

Here is a link to Nick Pisca, has a lot of info on them.
use to see him on the Forum a while back.

Thanks Goat! I'm pretty confident it was just the magnet. I'll let it run a few hundred miles and change the oil again. I'll keep an eye out for the T19 adapter you seek. I really appreciate the GVOD and think it's well worth the time and investment to install - really changes the truck (in a positive way). Thanks again...cheers, Matt

There is a transmission shop in Redding, Ca. that shows a couple on his site. Called him and was going to see what he had, but didn`t call back. that was 3 months back. I need to rattle his cage again.
If you come across one I`d be interested.

Saw a thread on some forum a few years back where the guy plumbed in a pump and filter to circulate the oil to extend the life of it.
I was looking for it but can`t find it now.

I talked to a guy at gear vendor after I dragged home the one I got at PNP. he said you can use a 2 speed shifter, and not wire in all the wiring and switches...etc.

There is a YT Vid of a guy shifting a Dodge 12V Diesel with the 2 spd shifter. Looks pretty slick.

An oil pump and filter for the GV? That's interesting. I'm not sure it would be worth the cost, it only takes 1.3 qts of 85W90, so that's what, $20 for a fluid change? Not sure that pencils out rather than just changing fluids. But I did look for the YT video and couldn't find it...perhaps he has a compelling argument.

I'll be on the lookout!
