Guys, I may be selling this really nice '63 Kenworth....

No, that's not restored....she's just in that good of an original condition! :D

I'll be putting more pics up tonight, at:

http://www.oregonstone.com/63kw.htm

It's double-framed (was a crane-truck), has a sweet Cummins 250 in it, a 4 and 4, and 85% ****** rubber all around. Other than a little grime, the cab is virtually like new inside. Still has the original tach/speedo Tattlers.

I'm not up to speed on the classic-truck market yet, but I think this tractor might be worth somewhere between 8 and 15 thousand. And I'd sell it for the best cash offer. But....

...but I enjoy horsetrading :D , and I'm looking for a decent 26K gvw truck to put my small knuckleboom on. Sooo... if you've got some medium-trucks, and want a classy old KW, we can work together.

I'd like 4-wheel disc hydraulic brakes and a good, solid, tight-steering truck. Not too particular about anything else; although I'd prefer a stick and would love to see an OD on it. A 7-spd or something?

I'm more concerned with MPG's and reliability, than I am with hot-rod power. Some kind of DT466 truck would be ideal for me. I need 12-13' of frame behind the cab; and a mfg. gvw of 26K.

Let me know what you guys think. And if you know of forums and people who would like to hear about this KW, please let me know.

thanks!

Thats a nice truck. I wish I had a use for it, but I don't. I'm sure someone will want it.

Always wanted an early 70's W model. Liked the arrowhead paint schemes. Someday.
Zoning really ****** with me with just one truck, guess I need to move to the hills ;)
