Good evening all,
Took my truck to the dealership, (Only place in town that work on diesels)
Every thing they did was questionable, Had to take it back twice, they couldn't even get a simple tranny service right. Any way Had them service the cooling system and even asked them if they put the additive in, I ordered some test strips and checked it tonite. It almost reads 1 should be 3 right ? So being the radiator if full how does on go about adding the additive ?
Gonna call the the dealership tomorrow and complain again,
Doesn't anyone do quality work anymore.
Thanks,

If you have the green anti-freeze it should be about 3 but zero if it is the gold stuff they put in the 2002s. You have just learned why I do my own. Its not to save $$$$.
Good luck.

re:

I have the green, So do I drain a little and add the additive + coolant ?
I will do my own serive from now on, The previous owner took it to Jiffy Lube and they got it right, It was good when I first got the truck.

Unfortunate when the dealer doesn't do right, but I'm afraid the tech probably never was trained on your rig, and doesn't have the sense to know otherwise. You could put some of the coolant from the radiator in the recovery bottle, and add the SCA's to the rad.
