axle swap

Okay just spent an hour looking but can't find anything so if there is a post on this let me know were it is.
axle swap 1988 f-250hd regular cab 400 gasser c-6 4.10 traction locker. Will this go in a 1993 f 350 diesel crew cab 7.3 zf-5 ? I know with is right but are spring perches going to be at the correct angle? Are these dana or sterling rears? what about u joint size?
Also will transfer case from a 250 c-6 bolt to a 350zf-5? bolyh are 1356 bw

Yes, and yes.

The axels are both sterling and will be a direct swap. If the u joints are different then swap the yokes. Being a 93 rear it should be a short yoke like the 88.

On the transfer case that depends if the are both fixed yoke or both slip yoke outputs

The 88 won't have the speed sensor port so your speedometer isn't going to work.

Ahhh. Forgot about that.

It might have it got the rear ABS. Ill have to look at my 88

1988 would have a speed sensor at the tcase. 1992 and up has no port for the sensor

I could be brain pharting but 88 should have an ABS sensor.

88 has a abs sensor which is also used for 92+ speed sensor

I think Fixed yokes are found on only broncos

Transfercase will work, but you need to swap yokes.
250 vs 350 use different u-joint size.

It'll be slip yoke on the rear.

Yes front yoke will need to be changed. Nylock nut too. Just impact it off

My 86 has a fixed rear output yoke... But it's a 208

So my 1993 uses abs sensor in the rear axle for the spedo ? That brings up another issue, my abs light is on. Any tip on troubleshooting that? Abs isn't working I can lock up the rears.
