Ats 085 t-19 to zf5 compatibility?

I’ve got a host of parts trucks now which means I’ve gots me a zf5! I plan to sell it unless it will work for me
As the title states will a ats 085 work with the zf5? It has the t-19 right now
Reason I ask is I know banks is trans specific

I think banks manual kits are interchangeable, it's the c6 and E4od that use different kits each.

Ignore the mess.
Two different pedestals, early automatic on the top, and later ZF on the bottom. There may be more but these are the only two I know of.

It’s an ats 085 but the only info I’ve been seeing was on banks

I’m hearing you can cut an ear off the zf bell housing to fit? Do you know anything about it

I think you're right. I'm pretty sure that I've heard that before. The 088 will fit both IIRC.

I went out to my parts pile, and set an 085 exhaust side on a 7.3/zf combo. It does look like it maybe could be made to work as far as fitting over the bell, with modding/cutting the bell, but the up pipe would have to be routed slightly higher and may have cab clearance issues also. The bellhousing may have to be cut enough, that welding in new would be needed.......

I personally dont think the 085 kit is really worth that amount of work. I have the same turbo on my truck, and have not put my zf5 in yet because of this. I have most of the parts to put a factory kit on my truck, and as soon as I finish collecting parts will be doing both at the same time.

Does it fit out of the box, no.
Do most things fit with cutting and welding, yes.
