Has anyone had any dealings with us diesel /how are there rebuilt pumps?

go with either a moose pump, or a baby moose pump. get it rebuilt by someone that knows idi's inside and out. when i need a pump thats where mine will go.

I bought some 6.5TD parts from them a few years ago and I thought they had great costumer service. That said I agree with the post above

20 years ago when they were still known as Gomers- they were questionable. My dad had issues with them a couple of times with Cat pump rebuilds. But my brother-in-law has had great service with them on his Duramax buildups. I don't live in Montana any more, so I don't have any personal experience with them. They might be better than they were, or they might just be better at the late model plug-n-play stuff.

Fill in your signatures, and talk to Mel (Agnem), and Russ (Typ4). Better to just research the archives, it will have all of the information you want. Then PM the two mentioned above.

What most on this forum will tell you or do is install a set of BB code injectors. They work so much better than the turbo G code injectors. Seems the G code injectors are really an emmissions typr injector. I ran the G codes for a long time. They really didn't work very well. I installed a set of BB codes from Russ and WOW.... What a differance. It was like adding two more cylinders to my motor.... I feel kinda like I woke up from a sleep now that I have learned the differance in these turbo an non turbo injectors.... Buy from the best... Guys like me have done the testing for you. A Moose pump isn't expensive when you factor in what it will cost you if you by a pump from a cheap rebuilder. then buy from a known quaility rebuilder lik Russ or Mel... Once again many of us have done the testing by buying from cheaper rebuilders already for you. So now you know who builds the best for our motors.... I really think the best cost less. First off its not going to cost twice as much because you only pay for it once. Not twice because you bought from a less than reputable builder..... Just read all you want about the crap being sold out there in the Hall of Shame... This forum really needs a place for the members that really shine of rht e stuff they sell that works... Kinda the opposite of the Hall of Shame.... Maybe it should be called the Hall of Fame.....
