I was talking about diesels to someone and they mentioned they had an arctic IP, it was the first I have heard of this, I got to thinking that it might be a good idea since I'm going to runn the truck on warm vegie oil, still more viscous than cool #2 oil, does anyone here know about these?

An arctic grade pump, has some different pieces inside to better handle #1 diesel. #1 doesen't have as much lubrication as #2. From what I am reading about the new fuel, we may all need arctic pumps in the future.

Thank you

I wil preheat the fuel, so heat isn't an issue, trouble is that at 212* vegie has the same viscosity as #2 at 32*
