I ripped the first gen banks off of my 86 and bought a brand new hypermax kit for it. Install was a piece of cake, everything lined up, worked like it should and now builds boost way lower than the banks could ever dream of. Plus the servicability of the older banks is zero, it's in the way of everything and look's like it was designed by a drunk seven year old. The hypermax sits back farther and so far hasn't sent me into the seething rage that the banks did every time I opened the hood to do anything.
