Anyone done any newer conversions?

Just curious. I'd love to do a conversion, but don't have anywhere near enough time or $$ these days. Still like to day dream though. I've been trying to find some examples of newer conversions. If/when it's ever time to replace my '93 as a daily driver, I'd like to replace it with something that has a much better ride. Indiana pot holes are killing my rear end.... Seems like dropping somthing like a 4bt into an '06 F150 would make a good set up, but I'm not seeing any information anywhere from folks who've done a swap on anything newer than the late 90s.

I haven't done one yet but I am trying to get my hands on a whole bunch of the 4BT motors from a friend of mine and I have an '06 Excursion to do when I get them ...

I put a 4bt in an 04 ranger with a 5 speed 2wd, it is pretty sweet. The electronics weren't too dificult considering.
If you decide to do a ranger or ford lmk I might be able to help.
