My pleasure. Just pay attention to the starting cable! I learned the hard way what happens when it chafes against something. in my case it was the coolant filter plumbing. Just a general thought when you start messing craming stuff in the engine compartment or you put a different engine in etc http://www.oilburners.net/forums/showthread.php?t=39034

Will do.

Update: DS4 pump is in, Bosch injectors in, lower intake manifold in, water pump in. But I figure I can show you better than I can tell you, so I am gonna include a few pics this time.

sweet.... are those new heads? or did ya have a machine shop redo them? reason I'm asking cause alot of machine shops don't know that the 6.5 heads have to be set up correctly or you'll have nothing but problems!

Thanks for the props...The heads are machine shop rebuilt- from a local shop that specializes in diesel engines. BTW, these heads didn't even have cracking between the valves, I was very surprised (not that it would have mattered, I would have used them anyways with no leaks).

I don't use shops who look at your stuff and say, "what engine did that come off of?" Worse yet, "thats a very big spark plug hole there you have.." :rotflmao

I should have her running today, folks. Engine is in the truck, trans is bolted up, today I put up the starter, connect the power steering pump, oil cooler, radiator and then fire it up. I will report back on how "sweet" she's running, lol

Haha. Well...4 years, 6 months and about 45,000 miles later.... it runs sweet! In the hill of New York, the flat of NC, the mountains of Tennessee... I think the test drive is over. Its a keeper. LOL
