I just hooked mine out to test it. The magnetic probe is definitely a tighter fit than the Kent Moore probe. Takes a good little bit of pressure to get it to slide in. I think the spring "fingers" may be mounted a little higher up on it as well. Got it to read rpm and timing, but seeing it both at the normal 20* offset that is defaulted to and the -20* offset that I recall we are supposed to set them to for the IDI's, I couldn't get it to read even the 10* that I should be at for timing (with the advance unplugged). Maybe I timed off the #4 line last time because I don't have a lot of clatter and shouldn't be at 14-18* on timing.
