Are you sure the hot switch connection is good?

positive, put the meter on it through the process, and 12.3V the entire time.
later ill try another ground, and if that dont work ill swap glow plug harness. then maybe plugs.
they all ohm out alright though...



havnt been able to get back on it due to the kids brake job,
and now were driving 2 hours for a fender and a door for his 61...
this was supposed to be a truck day.. MY TRUCK! not his :(

Take both ground wires you have connected together and connect them to the steel base of the relay, should work then.

update.
the culprit was BS glow plugs.
i decided to change them out, because the system would still not glow.
this is the first time i had a glow plug issue. never had an issue with it before.

when i went to change the GP's yesterday, i thought i had ZD9's in there.
i had some japanese crap in it.
installed the ZD9's and it works now....

all i gotta do is... finish the damn truck!
