Ambulance Hose

Since I"m about to make a long road trip through the desert, I want to change my upper radiator hose to the ambulance style that uses the notch on the front of the engine. Why FoMoCo decided to run the upper hose through the serpentine belt is just beyond me. If I grenade the belt on the road then I"m going to have to pull the upper hose to get the new one on anyway.

Anyone know the correct part number for this hose and is it available at a parts hosue or do I have to go through a stealer?

Just tell them you have dual alternators, that will get you the right hose.
