Aluminum return caps second truck

Started putting a set of aluminum return caps on my dads truck tonight. Drivers side 4 are on I will start it up in the morning to see if I have any leaks.

Those look fantastic! They should keep this thread for -Drool drooling and the other for testing / technical info.

That was my first thought too...would literally kill for a 2-tone (4 each) set that matches my truck's paint....

I thought anodizing would be a good idea as well. :)

It's not too difficult a process to do, but it takes a bit of practice to get them all the same color unless a little deviation would be aesthetically pleasing to you.

Its one solid part. Started out as a 2 1/2 dia. Round stock

As far as time/cost, how does machining them work out vs if they were cast?

Or would casting not work very well?

ADV - I know youhave been asked this before, and I know you are testing caps now, but how soon do you think it will be before the "brotherhood" will be able to buy a set of caps from you? I am in Wisconsin so I would gladly "test" a set for you.:sly
