dont worry they are only worth about 20-30 by me.
like mentioned you just use a pressure switch to break the electrical connection to the clutch on the front when it reaches pressure.

are you talking about the 5 salvage yards within 15 mins of me? i havent seen any real recently but that seems to be about the going rate around here. if you are looking i think i have a few hanging around my garage. i get them from parting out stuff or guys pulling them since their ac broke and they just take all the stuff off.

Old Volvo's run the same compressor also. Make sure you get the 210. It's the larger displacement.

YORK PA, I just thought it was really funny,since we were talking about york pumps. I remember when we had yards really close, now they are all foreign crap. Or apartments full of foreign crap. Yeah I said that.

I've been kicking around the idea of somehow running one off of the front half of the rear drive shaft to fill my tank for my horns. I know it would only work while driving, but I haven't seen a set up to work on the PSD serpentine belt system. Would the pump run in either rotation?

ya know i am so used to living here i didnt put two and two together until you said that
i used to live in Mechanicsburge, of course we have Mars, Blueball, *********** and a few other odd names around here for towns.i seem to remember you can get a serp belt pulley that had an extra v belt on it to adapt to the york. i will have to see if i can find one, i know they do it adapting a york to the newer serp belt jeeps.

i want to do it but i'd like to ditch the vacuum pump and put a york in it's place but i cant find an electric vacuum pump that is cheeper than $250 and it's not designed for continious duty. any ideas...
use the vacuum the york compressor pulls pumping
switch to hydro boost so you don't need the vacuum.
