I'm in the market for a oil pressure gauge looking at ordering one off Amazon. Any one know a good one to get, not looking to spend too much. Also how do these plumb into the sensor on the turbo, i know i wire it to a 12v source and have a ground but not sure on the other stuff.

You could install a brass T where your oil sender mounts now. That way you could run the factory gauge and the aftermarket one

On a factory turbo it is 1/4 coming out of the block. I tried running a mechanical gauge , did seem to work right for some reason.

Factory turbo is 1/4npt as stated but you could run it off any oil port. There’s one on the oil cooler I believe. Most gauges come with 1/8npt fittings but places like rural king have all kinds of brass t’s and adaptors.

I think these mechanical gauges struggle with the 15w-40 oil. My autometer seemed really slow at first so I tried the old one out of my Comanche that worked fine on 10w-30 but it read slow too. Eventually it started working as it should, idk?
