Does anyone know if anybody else carries a cat delete that will fit on a stock system. I just cancelled my order from DPPI since they are on backorder for 3-4 weeks and was hoping i could find someone else that sells them

AFE just came out with that part and nobody has them yet we are also waiting on them. I still don't see why a MBRP one won't work it bolt in place of the stock cat so it should work with the stock exhaust

If all you want to do is get rid of the cat,
why don't you head down to the local muffler
shop, and have them cut it out and put in a
piece of pipe? If there is a flange of sorts you
won't have that anymore, but were you
ever going to put the cat back in? I would think
you should be able to get enough change for
lunch back from $40. That's what it's worth here
anyways, in the great white north, where it's been
in the high 80's to the low 90's for the last week or so. -cuss

p.s. Don't let the shop keep the "cat"
They're worth almost their weight in gold. ;)

Emission laws that tough there, that the
muffler shops get in **** for doing it?

We don't have emissions here for diesel but it is still illeagal to remove an emissions control device if the vehicle came with it.

You can buy one directly from Ford. They are listed for a 7.3, but will bolt into a 6.0 with a little trimming. It's a 15 min job and costs about $75.00

It depends on cab config, I had to cut about 10" off the pipe and remove the hanger.

triplethreat,

We finally got them in stock, soory it took so long. The MBRP and AFE are not interchangeable, for a stock system or stock down pipe you need the AFE!
