A $6 obstruction wrench for IP

I don't know that this would work well for the IP, but it's $6 shipped for a 9/16 and 5/8 curved wrench:

I bought one "just in case" I ever need it for that or something else. It's box ends are as wide as normal wenches, so grinding them thinner might still be required?

According to the drawing I have, the walls of the box end should be just 1/16 inch thick side to side, and the thickness of the whole box end should be 5/32.

Still beats buying the OEM tool or buying a straight wrench and having to hack it!

I don't necessarily swear to the dimensions on the drawing. I only read them. I haven't had to make this wrench yet.

Being the first diesel v8 in a car, is there not a way to make these run well? Or is it the fact its a gasser turned diesel and can’t handle it that makes them rough?

It sure wouldn't work with a van chassis IDI.
