Sweet find! Grinding will likely be required.

According to the drawing I have, the walls of the box end should be just 1/16 inch thick side to side, and the thickness of the whole box end should be 5/32.

    That don't sound RIGHT
1\16" is near the depth of the offest on the teeth of the wrench. ...

Still beats buying the OEM tool or buying a straight wrench and having to hack it!

I don't necessarily swear to the dimensions on the drawing. I only read them. I haven't had to make this wrench yet.

Wasn't that the one that started life as a gasser that everyone hated?

Being the first diesel v8 in a car, is there not a way to make these run well? Or is it the fact its a gasser turned diesel and can’t handle it that makes them rough?

It sure wouldn't work with a van chassis IDI. LOL
