97 f250 cc short box real?

going to look at a truck like this but never heard of it? Has blown motor and no front clip or box and what s 3000 for it. I have my 94 I could steel parts from and get a rebuild long lock for it but what is it worth in the end , he says it is rare

The rare part is kinda true, but now you gotta find a bed. From an f150 would probably be the best place to look.

He's really high I think. Core supports for these diesels are scarcer than that short box!

you can find running innercooled 99's for 5k.

He has the rad support ic and rads and a egine with blown piston. The rest of the running gear is there just apat for engine removable going to see how the rest of the truck is . Would like to put a zf5 and hydro boost as well just getting in to ps territories foe the first time here would make a a some tow vehicle

but let me tell you this.
i too got a superduty that was non operational.
a 01 F250 with essentially the same engine.
i got mine for free.
but i had to drop around 8 grand into it to get it up to par.
and since i bought cheap injectors,
guess what i get to spend my next available 2500 dollars on?

So there's an E4DOA in it now? Then you're getting pretty-much nothing for $3K. No engine, lame tranny, the lame TTB front end, at this point it's not even much of a parts donor. If the frame is REAL clean, and so is the interior and cab sheet metal, then it MIGHT fetch $1000 as a project truck.

CCSB is unusual, but not exactly "rare". Not nearly as rare as an ECSB.

To the OP, there is an OBS F250 CCSB Powerstroke that I see running around Vancouver now and then. It's the only one with that body style that I've noticed around here in the last few years, so I'd say they're rare. However, I do agree with what everyone else here says. Way too much $ for what's there.

think of it this way.
it may be RARE.
but, its no 67 mustang fastback with a hemi cammer.

you can turn any truck into a short bed with a bit of work.
for less than a grand.

I know it s no mustang just never herd of a short box. The guy already dropped the price to 2800 . If I could swap my harness and idi over to it I have a guy that can get me a southern box. Then swap my front shetmetal to the truck and register it as my 94 for emissions exempt

I think the f250 ccsb was a 96/97 deal. I don't consider them rare either. I think he's high priced. 1000-1500 if the cab, interior and frame are clean.
