95' F150 What is the safe towing capacity?

Hey all, Ive Got a 95' F150 4x4 5.8 ex cab, short bed, E40d, 3.55 axle ratio. What is considerd safe towing capacity? I had the truck weighed and it is about 5400LBS. Just curious. Thanks

The info I could find said 7500 lbs towing Capacity or about 1850 lbs in the bed, this was with the 4.9L I-6 though.
