i have an injection pump that was on an engine I bought to rebuild. Story goes the engine developed a miss and truck was put in the shop. New turbo, injection pump and injectors were installed chasing the miss, but in the end, it was a dead hole on #8. When I tire it down the rings were gone.
Injection pump was rebuilt by an injection shop in St. Louis several years back. I did hear the engine run before the guy pulled it and it started very quickly from dead cold. I believe this to be a great ip someone could get some good use out of.
