so its got 200K on it. Makesa whappin 6psi with the gate tied closed. Smokes alright. I strait piped it with the stock DP. Has an AFE pro Guard 7 in it. I want more poop on a budget and dont really care about blowing it up. So I have a few questions.

1. what flange is the stock turbo, thinkin an hx35 take out will work alright.

2. whats the part number for marine injectors?

3. What belt do I put on it (part Number) after I toss the vac pump in the trash?

Quoted from another 6.5 webpage:

Goodyear part # 4061010 for NO vacuum pump and # 4061020 for engine equipped with vacuum pump.

I'll measure the turbine flange diameter tonite when I get home.

6psi isn't very much. You need more fuel.
Not an hx35. Why you trying to blow it up anyways? :)

I wanted to switch turbos to get a boost actuated waste gate. The 6.5 is vac correct? Or can I hook a boost line to it and use a Hallman to get the WG to act the way I want? I said hx35 cause thier easy to find.

Part number on the marines?

I'm not saying you need this exact part.

I'm just using them as an example. :)
You do have other options in order to make boost.
Lots of people have made their own version of a
"bracket and spring doo-hickey" with good results
for a lot less than the $100 they want for a
pretty one that comes from a store.

I'd rather be able to control it and set it with the other boost actuated products out there.

So whats the flange? and Injectors?

Flange dimensions are 2.695" W x 4.325" L (68mm x 110mm) (approx)

Bolt hole center lines are 3.375" x 1.800" (86mm x 45mm) (approx)

The following is quoted from another 6.5 diesel list by member "DieselPro":

The only true marine injectors were built for Peninsular diesel by Bosch. There are no others. These injectors incorporate a DNOSD311 tip with slightly higher pressure. Anybody can buy that nozzle and put it in their nozzle holder.
I see no real benefit. The stock nozzle will flow way more than the engine can burn. So be smart. I personally like Delphi or Bosch. There are lots of people selling Chinese injectors and calling them anything you want to hear. SO BE Alert. If it's to good to be true it's fake.

Hope this helps.

Yeah I found some "boshe" tips on ebay. Figured I'd try em.

So that flange doesnt seem to match up to the standard flanges ie: T-3. That sux.
