Just wondering are the internals(rods, pistons, crank) in a factory turbo engine(93 model) better than those in a NA 7.3 or 6.9? I thought i heard something about that but can't find it now. Also is it quite a bit easier to make more power in 7.3 than the 6.9? I might end up with both engines (the 7.3 being the factory turbo) they're in about the same condition so just wondering which one i should rebuild or if there are certain parts more desireable on each one just make one out of the better parts? Also what is the compression ration on the 7.3? I heard the 6.9's is about 21:1? Does this higher ratio bad for turboing like in a gas?
Sorry for all the questions but appreciate your wisdom!

The rods pistons and valves are different in the turbo motor. The piston wrist pin is bigger and the pistons and valves got heat protection treatmants. They are the same to make power since they are identical just a slightly bigger bore. The compression ratio is the same between the motors except for the very first 6.9s
