ya but on the long drives my wife can take over for a short time with the auto even though she knows how to drive a manual. I do pre-fer a manual does anyone know how much power the zf 5 speed can handle?

Its called an S5-42. The 42 stands for 420 ft/lbs of torque

In order to use the 2wd auto with a t-case, you have to rebuild it. The output shaft needs to be replaced with a 4wd version. I think it's one of the last parts to come out.

ok talked to the local tranny shop ( aamco transmitions ) they said $500 to convert the auto to 4x4 ready. I didn't think that was a bad price myself.

Hmmm good question, i really dont know i havent ever looked at a powerstrokes motor mounts i've never had the choor of getting to pull one so i wouldnt kno
