Good morning to you all! (0600 on the west coast) I do have a question for you all and seemingly infinite knowledge of these engines/trucks.

Anybody running the Banks kit and has a 90* thermocouple? Or are they all straight? My brother in Reno is doing some repairs and discovered the Pyro sender is dented and will not read. Upon further inspection it's a tight fit to get it in there!

Anything you all run that is an easier/cleaner setup than a 180* probe?

I replaced the thermocouple on my Banks Sidewinder kit a little over a year ago. It's a pain, but not impossible. Of course, about 3 months after I replaced the pyro, my gauge crapped out. So now I have a new Autometer EGT gauge, but it's not compatable with the Banks pyro (I tried to make it work by getting cute and splicing the Banks pyro into the Autometer harness. I get a reading, but it's about 150-200° low). So now my plan is to give up on the Banks pyro, tap the exhaust manifold, and install the Autometer pyro there.
