Have you tried "www.iatn.net". Used to be a real good source of information for repairs. Closed my shop and got out of the repair business a few years ago. Always found good information related to problems I had.

Haven't tried that yet actually, thank you.

But update on the Blazer, it's in my graveyard.

After trying a new ECM/PCM/ECU and it doing nothing...

I had it brought to a more experienced shop up the street. He repaired a major vacuum leak, how I missed this I don't know, ouch. The truck ran enough to get the customer around for a few days, then it died again.

I towed it back to the other shop, he diagnosed the oil pump failing and shutting down the TBI. He recommended an engine. He also mentioned the new fuel pump could also be faulty. The box the fuel pump came in was awful dusty.

Somehow the Blazer was limped back to my parking lot. And here she lies.

Customer is ruminating on this truck's future.

If the body and transmission weren't also garbage I would attempt to flip it. But this poor beast should be given a proper funeral.

Since it is here, if anyone has ideas, I would like to try them, since there's no longer a time issue heh
