Nice! ;Sweet

I went back and reread your thread. I see you're upgrading your turbo from an HX35. Will the P-pump put out enough fuel to spin that BW?

Thanks. I had 2 hx35s that I overspooled to death. and then I built a 35/40 hybrid and actually hooked up the wastegate. Which is great. Tows like a freight train. But it can get hot I'm assuming bc I never intercooled it.
I'm really hoping this bw + I/c is a big improvement bc I spent a good chunk of change on it.
And if it sucks I'll take it all back off and put my 35/40 back on lol.
And as far as spinning it up I sure hope so. Now you have me wondering!
It's an 11mm pump from a school bus.
If I want to I can black out the whole road. If that's any indication of fuel ide say I currently have extra. Lol. Hoping it cleans it up as far as that goes.

In my opinion, with some tuning, you will have a kick@$$ tow machine.

Please post a video once you've got it dialed. It's nice to actually SEE how all the hard work you've done has paid off.

Yeah here's hoping.
Can't do much pump tuning.
The clown who had the engine before me gutted the afc and ground the fuel plate flat. So that's on the to do list as well

Installed. The I/c is very nice. High quality. But they send you some really short boots and the sh!ttyest clamps I've ever seen. I'll get all spring loaded clamps from work.

Latest pics. I spent some time today wrapping up the I/c plumbing.
I took pics of the crappy eBay clamps installed but I actually got nice ones.

Got this cool intake. Cheaper than a pusher or ATS

Laatly I wasn't satisfied with the flanges that keep the boots from slipping off. So I broke out the ol' harbor freight bead roller.

I also used the extreme poor man way on a piece of aluminum I had to use. It works on steel too. Just tougher.

Geez that's some intake elbow alright! :D Gonna have enough clearance under the hood for it?

Where did the air-to-air come from. I mean yes you said evilbay, do you happen to have a link to it?

Don't forget to flap-wheel the edges of the piping that you bead-ed. Did that mistake once... only once! LOL

All of the forced induction air coolers we install are charge air coolers... and technically, you are installing an aftercooler. It is an aftercooler because it is physically located between the last compressor and the engine. (A true intercooler is located between multiple compressor stages, either turbos or superchargers, such as in a piston-driven aircraft engine application.)

However, in the modern automobile market, the term intercooler is used. Why, i'm not sure. The term aftercooler is still used in the aviation industry.

You got a Napa 6637 air filter in without relocating the starboard battery...I'm impressed! ;Sweet How much did you have relocate from the inner fender?

Now, if only there was a viable way to get cool air to the filter from that location. Hmm...
