i have seen mine at 65 psi when it was 30 degrees outside, going down the road on a hot day mine hold a little over 50 psi at 55 mph, and 25 psi idling

I have never seen it that high? The thing reads 20 hot idle and 59ish at 60mph.....

My IDI used to go up to 75psi when cold and I reved it up, then when warm it ould be around 45psi high idle and 20psi low idle.

Cold oil makes way more pressure than hot oil. Don't know what my truck makes, but the diesel ranger will go above 100 PSI when reved up cold, and settle to 20-25 psi when idleing hot.

My truck when cold idles at about 25psi, then about 10-15 when warm, highest I've ever seen pressure under load and warm was 40 psi...

Presumably a younger engine will have lower oil pressure because the galleys aren't clogged up? Oil pressure is one of those weird things to figger out...

i would think an engine in better shape would hold better oil pressure than one in older or worse shape, my engine only has 99000 miles on it so thats why i figured mine held such good oil pressue:dunno
