7.3 IDI overhaul time

I think it maybe time to rebuild my IDI.
I was woundering if anyone could give me some input?
I have heard different things to do as far as head studs, different pistons and rods, Copper head gaskets, cams, spring kits ect...
Has anyone had any thing done and what were the resaults good bad or indifferant. Where can I get some of the parts.
I would appricate any input.

I just rebuilt my 7.3l idi ( all cyl bored and sleaved...big $$) of coarse new rings bearings,new cam and lifters, rebuilt heads,rebuilt injection pump.....all aftermarket parts.

Seem to run nice. Haven't had it on the road yet because I am having master and slave cyl problems. Good luck.
