Hmmm, is this for the big alternator like used on s-series ih trucks?

Not sure what vehicle it came out of. Harness has pos and neg to terminals on alternator.

The typical application of the Leece-Neville was in and Ambulance/EMS application.......

Connectors on harness may be different, probably depends on the year of the truck. Has a round 8 pin plug towards the fender/battery end, two rows of 4, of which 7 have wires/pins. Fairly large gauge charge and ground wire, relative to what came on the 1g and 2g alternators.
