Alright, I've got a couple of six speed clutch changeouts under my belt, now I've got a 5 speed to help with. Is there anything really different?? Mainly, I'm curious if it's still smart to leave the T-case hooked to the tranny, that has worked great for me with the 6 speeds.

Thanks
Matt

Matt..........from every thing I have read its all the same just a touch smaller, the NV 4500 is alot lighter than the NV 5600 too........should be easy to handle just dont let the thing fall off the jack eh

When I had my Goat I had to change the clutch out, and it was really pretty simple. I pulled the t-case out with the trannie and it was really easy, plus it's less crap that you have to unbolt and then rebolt later on. Other than the weight of the transmission, I'm pretty sure the procedure is identical. The biggest PITA was the crossmember and that's not that big a deal. Good luck to you. Me and my friend changed mine in about 5 or 6 hours start to finish.
