7.3 Block Numbers

So, Its like this. I got my rebuildable 7.3 core home today and found that the block numbers are 7.3D U2U586432*....... So great wealth of knowldge, what motor year do I have. It is supposed to be a 92 7.2 motor but it has V-belts on it. I have not tried to hand crank it thru yet but will soon. The owner said he changed it out because it "had a lot of miles on it". I didn't get the vacuum pump or mounts, the ac mounts or the power steering pump. I got EVERYTHING else.... For $77.50....... I gave him $80.00.... :Sly

All I can find is the 7.3 started with 7.3D U2U500000

I have no indication of year, but at 86432, I guess it is one of the earlier years, '89 ? Definately not a '92.

I have a 92 F 350 and it has the V belts on it so this may be a 92 engin?

I have an early '92 with v-belts. Serpentine didn't come out until around midyear.

Eighty bucks! Damn I need one of those too.
