Well after the 3.5 hr drive in my pile of bolts as rob says, we arrived. Then the fun began.... Let's just say idi saves the day again. Well, idi and dt....

I knew I should not have hopped on here to catch updates, Now I am Rally Home Sick,.. We miss seeing all of you Diesel Gear Heads, Have a great time, well shoot for next year.
A little catch up on the rescue. Gary started loosing power suddenly pulling along the interstate.
It cost him a small fortune to get taken to the closest walmart and that's where we came in.
Me and the dog catcher ran out to bring his camper back, run for parts and let Ron diagnose. Since the only dealer to have the part was just outside our campground and it's no fun working in a walmart parking lot Andy and Corey went looking for a trailer.
I can't believe it but they saw one a long the side of the road and just asked the guy if they could borrow it. And even crazier is he said yes!
We got some subway while we waited for the trailer to show.
I don't know if anyone got some pictures but we used my truck and a tow strap to get Gary's truck up on the ramp.

We safely strapped the dog catcher in and set off for the campground
Running Rt 30 back to the campground was a torture test of constant up and downs on 9 and 10% grades. My dt pulled the camper fine and Corey slowed down some but his truck pulled the hills like a champ. people could probably hear the idi crackle for miles around when we ran about 6 miles of 11 and 9% grades straight down one section. Lol
Made it back just fine though
Got Gary tucked in for the night and hopefully he can get fixed up today. I will note I blatantly stole a couple of pics off Facebook to help tell the story lol

That's determined by the guy running the smoker and he is shooting for about 2 or 3 o'clock to be ready.

Gary stepped away for just 5 minutes to make a call!
The truck did fire off once they figured out the IPR valve!

I hardly know what a IPR valve is but they think an oring blew out on it. Gary, Ron and Corey know what they are and took care of it.
Update in case anyone is wondering but we are shooting for 2 to 3 o'clock for the pot luck to give the days arrivals time to join.
