I have a 1991 F350 that i have had for around 3 years. The transmission was about to done when i got it. I just now got it rebuilt, but the od light is dim, tac not working, and abs light is on. The transmission is still acting funning and reverse is out. I have talked to the transmission shop and they are going to rebuild it for free since i just got it back. But i have to fix the od dim light, tac and abs before they will touch it. I have no idea what the problem is. I have replaced the throttle positioning sensor. That was the only code when i got it tested. Can anyone give me any advise?

If the tach isn't working, then your sensor is bad and needs replaced. And that would cause an E4od to act up pretty seriously. That's an easy fix. It's the big screw with two wires coming out of it on the injection pump housing.

Btw... the OD light flashes when the transmission computer has a code it's throwing. If that happens, your transmission will go in to "limp" mode and only shift into 2nd and 3rd, I believe. But it won't drive right.
