For sale is a 1989 Ford F-250 longbed 7.3 IDI DIESEL pickup truck. $3500
It’s not without it’s flaws, but would make a solid work truck for someone.
Odometer shows 51,878 miles, but it’s an old 5 digit so no way to know if it’s rolled over, or how many times it has rolled over.
The good: - Runs well
- Starts every time
- Brakes work well
- Overdrive E40D automatic transmission shifts through all the gears
- Longbed to haul lots of material
- Good tires with decent life left
- Seat upholstery in great condition for age
- Old school vent windows
- Sliding rear window
- Toolbox
- Bed crane
- Dual fuel tanks
- Recently serviced
- Clean Arizona title in hand, in my name
- Smog exempt in CA
- RUST FREE!!!

The bad:
- Takes a little longer to start, give you time to drink your coffee while you wait
- Smokes on start – so you can get that beautiful diesel exhaust smell every start
- Rear fuel tank pump doesn’t work, so you’ll save a lot by not having to fill the tank as full
- Bed and rear bumper is dented pretty bad, so she has plenty of character
- Headlights, radio, and some gauges don’t work.
- AC and heater are installed and complete, but neither work. Thankfully we live in San Diego and don't need either!
- Windshield has a crack
- Passenger window doesn’t roll down, but the vent window works
- Paint was originally white, but was repainted black at some point. It's faded in some areas. A nice patina!
