Looks like an axle code of 73 = no ls
Seems like I can put 75/140 and skip the ls additive?

I typed lsd so much today I'm probably under surveillance..

It's been a long time since I've worked on a truck with a C6. The throttle cable shouldn't be rubbing on the kickdown linkage. Can you run the cable underneath it?

I can, just wanted a lil affirmation since that would put it a bit closer to the block

Can you give us a pic of the linkage problem area?

I should have said this earlier. The easy way to test this would be to lift up the cable with one hand so that it's not rubbing on the kickdown linkage. Then use the other hand to move the linkage. If it moves freely, that's your problem.

No idea. I just go to my collection of extras if I need to replace one. If they still look good, I hang onto used ones that I come across. Needless to say, my 1981 F150 is also running IDI battery cables (not the positive that goes across the radiator support). I have NO doubt that lack of current is not a starting issue for the small block in there.

Went to see the comet last night and dropped my doobie up in the vent. Started taking the dash apart today and found some rust, makes sense the windowseal is failing.

I cant seem to get the screws closest to the windshield, so I can prime this plate and reinstall it. Do they come out without taking the shield out?

Also turns out the speaker in the middle wasn't even wired in..so that gets done too. If you're wondering btw, I found it.

This tool was a lifesaver..

Door panels and such primed for paint. Grey looks kinda cool against the blue.

Found a used sidewinder off an 86 about 6 hours from me, 800 bucks. Craigslist

What do I look for buying a used turbo? Seems too good to be true
