I am one of those people who sees the opportunity in everything. I have a buddy who is selling a 12 v and so I bought the intercooler from him. $50 seemed like a great price!
I am yet N/A but when I do get a turbo I wanted to know if anyone had tried using a intercooler from a 12v. I set it up there and looks like it should be super easy. Heck this may be even a better option for idis as it has 90* ends that come out on either side of radiator.;Sweet So I was thinking this may get even easier but I don't want to pull my grille off to see how it does especially since I have no pipes to use for mock up, or a turbo!
Just thoughts

will the distance of the 90* bends fit on the outside of the radiator?
it only takes 4 screws and a couple of plastic pieces to get the grille off.
youre also going to have to cut the bottom of the hood latch support off.
people have ran 6.0 innercoolers on bricks.
as long as it will fit snug to the radiator, youre golden.

yes it does. I had done some reading on people and they said something about different turbo hats. Why?

irrelevant.
you could match up the IC piping to the hat, but with our IDI's it really dont make a diff.

i kind of like the swirl pattern an ATS hat promotes.
