I replaced the bearings and seal on my 1992 F350 Dually, This is my first time ever doing this job. I think everything went well till putting the hub back on. Was doing just what was asked. The hub went on just fine but stopped early I think leaving about 1/2 inch or less shinny gap between the seal and the small lip on the axle. The hub need to slide all the way on till the seal is to the lip. Correct? Advice on what I’m doing wrong. Or did wrong. Thanks in advance.
