I think the gen set is around 11,000 lbs but the truck handled it like a champ but was not going to win any races but it also did not complain

I needed to move some stuff so picked up a cheap trailer for 400$ needs some work, like a deck and just general maintenance but it has these rims im not use to so maybe someone can school me

Has anyone else noticed this? Sometimes when engine braking (ZF5) in the upper RPMs (about 2500 area) it seems that the consistency of the engine braking kinda fluctuates and seems like it surges for a brief moment (kinda like it lost compression for a second). But it dose not always happen...
Its seems they are different. My truck never had a real tale gate. So my friend gave me one from a 80s F250 and i have a 91 box on mine It seems the latch is different My box seems to have a torx pin like a door latch, and where my tale gate looks like it needs a "catch" like what is used on...
Well when i got my ATS kit used it did not come with an oil line :rolleyes:
But i did remember the block on top of the ats turbo has a 1/8 NPT port and so does the engine block
So I picked up a 24" long geese whip for $7.00 and a mail-female 1/8 NPT 90 for $2.00 and done!

So my glow plug controller has been giving me trouble and its becoming more and more often. This is what I have noticed. The 1st time i turned the key on and let the WTS light run then cranked it over and no start. So i turn off the ignition and back on and waited for the WTS light to go out...

got some results back, Faild the cold soak because the sample was taken before the fuel had gone threw any kind of filtration. Sent another sample out after passing threw a 5 micron and then a 1 micron and it was 82 seconds
went and picked up a 1971 Scout 800 B from a buddie
needs some work like fenders,(they been trimed) some tub rust etc. typical scout stuff

Well i got the gauges in and hooked up (except for the oil temp) and still have not turned up the pump but flying up a hill foot to the floor I see a max of 6 psi and 850 F on the pyro and the probe is right at the manifold
also where is a good place to put the oil temperature prob...
has anyone run one before? I have access to a nice 3" brake for $50. and wanted some opinions. the guy said he ran one on his 93 f250 turbo and it was fine but what do you guys think
Well i got the ATS in it was a bit of a screw around with getting everything allied up so it all goes together correctly. The snail thing was a pain as well, im not sure if there is a trick to that but that's a poor detail. Anyways its in and im just running the down pipe for now till i get...
just getting ready for the turbo install next weekend (if the weather is good) and was wondering if i deformed the firewall enough to fit the ATS setup
