Looking to buy 1992 7.3
I hear ya on that!!!! That's how it is in Las Vegas,Nevada so that's what I have a Big hunk of $hit but it runs and I love it and nobody ever messes with it because it looks like it might not run... But it has never let me down in the 115f weather we have here =)- Vfelix702

Looks sweet but I have an a/c compressor in the way so I went with flex.. Until I get some time to bend 4in ABS pipe that outta be intresting lol- Vfelix702

The wire setup is stainless steel tie wire found at the parts store and yes its wrapped around the filter on both ends around the come and attached to the rad shroud I figuered leaving it suspended like this it won't vibrate loose if that makes since and so far it hasn't given me any problems- Vfelix702

Well over the cone filter you can put a prefilter "media" over the cone and when its dirty it slides right off and its washable and slides on similar to the pre filte around the actual filter you find on like a carberated dirt bike and such- Vfelix702

filter head o ring
avalible at mc master carr McMaster-Carr ford # 7.3 Fuel heater o-ring E8TZ-9K342-A The closest match I could find was an As 568 114 o-ring (dimensions: 5/8 inches ID x 13/16 inches OD x 3/32 inches width).- Vfelix702

Electric fan ??
this what i put on mine in addition to the stock fan clucth because i run 134a in the a/c and the head pressure was high due to the fact that the system was designed for r-12 and that is like liquid gold lol http://fanconversion.com/Mark_8_fan.html- Vfelix702

the soup bowl i took off its just sitting the the truck of my 83 mercedes turbo diesel as far as the intake on the idi it is a 5 to 4in no-hub and a 4 in 90 with 4 in flex duct and a cone filter i was going to make it out of 4 in abs but could make the bends around the compressor. the no-hub...- Vfelix702
