My dad has had a 3 ZF5 speeds that have had the 2nd gear syncro's go out on them. All trannys were '96-'97.. Never any other problems there.. I had 2 ZF6 Speeds in my '06 F350 take a crap, the first time I had terrible Growl/Howl in 4th & 5th gears.. I lost Reverse..

I had XLT Lariat with Manual Windows and Locks.. I really don't like the Fender Flares, Glad i wasn't the only one to Catch the "Gasoline" on the Title
I believe there pretty much the same beast.. If anything the things gonna be easier to work on cause the Flip forward hood/fender allows a much bigger work space..
I had a '06 F350 CC SRW 8.5' Flat bed.. It was really handy to have the Flat bed 90% of the time, Pulling trailer, Hauling Quads, Sleds.... but there were the days that i really missed the Box on it..
I personally don't like DRW.. I outgrew training wheels at a young age. Though they serve...
As Gonecrazyi said.. The holes are all there and the 50 will go in just as easy as the 60 goes in place of the 50. I swapped the 60 from a '88 F350 into a '96 F250, putting the '96 50 back under the '88.. I did this 4 differnt times.. Keeping all trucks driveable and so i could sell or whatever
I had a D60 Last spring that I tried to sell for a few months.. Couldn't ever get a bite on it.. Ended up letting it go for $600 to a guy to put under his Jeep Wrangler
I had a 6spd in my '06 6.0l and my '99 7.3l and for some of the loads i hauled i had to use 4-low and granny low to get moving then shift to high range and keep it movin.. I love the granny low of the ZF6
As a complete Engine it is ready to be bolted into your truck, Wiring is still on the engine and i Have either a Flexplate for auto tranny or a Flywheel for 4spd that will go with it.. Has the Complete Banks setup on it, Including the down-pipe and Pyro
If your just intrested in the Turbo, it...
They can be done, but i believe it requires some tranny tunnel modifacation. Plus there not cheap too buy.. Strong? Yeah like said above its as strong as the ZF5.. But i've had 2 of them fail in my '06 F350 6.0l
I had a '94 IDI Turbo that had an issue like this... Took it hooked up my brothers Featherlite 4 Horse trailer and ran it as hard down the interstate after 30 miles of hard driving it wasn't smoking when we stopped for fuel.. Problem was gone.. Rapid Diesel said it was prolly a stuck/sticking...
I have a '86 6.9l that was rebuilt 20-30K miles ago, had a Banks Sidewinder Turbo Put on it.. I no longer need the Engine, so I want to part with it in someway:
As a Complete Engine w/Banks Turbo - $1000
Banks Sidewinder Turbo with all parts and accesories to put it on your rig - $800...
