Fuel sender float???

So 2 yrs ago I put a scamazon float in the 93, it just failed...
Anyone have a proven diy material to use?

I once used a float from a Volkswagen, it was an oval plastic like one, with a hole in the middle that it went on for the vw sender. I just bent the curved part for the ford, slid it on, and then did a short 90 bend at the end so it didn't slip off. Worked just fine

These guys re-built my sending units about 15 years ago. Their website advertises Harley stuff now, but I bet they will still do our Ford stuff.
