I have a 1987 f-250 with a 1988 7.3 with a zf 5spd. When I fire it up hot or cold it shakes A LOT. When I go down the road, the sticks to my tranny shake too. I replaced the motor mounts and tranny mount and it still does it. I even did an injector/cylinder test and they apparantly all work...
normally the glow plugs stay on for about 15 secs if in the single digits, but if you have a manual plugs I would leave them on for about 20 to 25 secs.
I was wondering if there was anybody who makes a serpentine belt conversion or if it has been done. Don't get me wrong here, I like the ones on my truck, but I think a conversion would be cool.
