How do you find top dead center on a 6.9

When your timing mark on your vibration damper is at the 11 Oclock position #1&4 are at TDC, 2 Oclock 2&5 at TDC, 5oclock 6&7 at TDC and 8oclock 3&8 at TDC

Nope... Not really top dead center when the marks line up. You could be 180 degrees out too. Best way is to see the number one rockers action. Then you will know for sure when the piston is at tdc # 1 cylinder.
