ip problems?
Well when we first put the pump in we tested the high idle and cold idle advanceand we were able to hear a difference are you talking about or is there another advance I'm not aware of? Is there any way that I could forsure pin point it to the pump?- mike3dpro

when i looked at the pump last night it looked like it was in same spot that i had left it... as for the pump being bad would it run like it did at first i mean i have this pump in my truck for about 3 weeks now and have no isusses tell this happened... when we first put the pump in we actually...- mike3dpro

ip problems?
i did a quick check last night on the pump bolts just by trying to turn it by hand but it didnt move at all but i didnt put a wrench on the bolts to be for certain. and as for the black smoke... no there wasnt to to much but with this pump from day on there wasnt much smoke it is still in all...- mike3dpro

diesel down! what to do? i recently replaced my ip with a reman from pencicola diesel. ran awesome pulled a heavy load a couple hundred miles and still was fine. drove to work the other day and everything was good i went to lunch and alll hell broke loose... my truck sounded like it was sooo...- mike3dpro

Yea I like electric fans only because you can turn them on and off, and they usually move enough air. I do believe that a locked up fan will move more air at 900 or so rpm than most electric fans. I put my hand behind it while idling, and I can't believe how much flow is coming off these fans...- mike3dpro

Good deal! All the junkyards around here **** you big time...I bet that stuff would have cost well over $100 over here. Exactly some people say they are not sure the fan is locking up...When it locks up at 2000+ rpm you will hear it, unless you do have really bad hearing. Sounds just like a MACK truck.- mike3dpro

+1 Stock fan works great for daily driving, but towing up hills, it won't lock up until engine starts getting very hot. Then it stays locked on fine and cools it right down. Where to get injector parts?
Hello all. We changed all the injectors, GP, & GP relay on the truck, (whoo big job... autolites were in there, with relay stuck on!) but when we did the return lines the kit came with a 90 degree (cap?) where it was just a single inlet cap, so we reused the single line one. its a 1993 F-350 7.3l idi ats turbo diesel, crew cab, long bed, E4OD with a gear vendor over/under drive, 4x4, rear end is stock gearing not sure, single tire rear end, (not a dually) truck weight=7300 trailer=1000 and jeep on trailer=3200 GCWR=11,500 pounds i was putting out about 7 pounds of...- mike3dpro

im pretty sure that it is working cause once i stop pulling my temp goes right back to the normal driving temp. and i was also pulling at 2500 rpm so idk if the fan would engage at that rpm- mike3dpro
