    lower temp fan clutch

Yea I like electric fans only because you can turn them on and off, and they usually move enough air. I do believe that a locked up fan will move more air at 900 or so rpm than most electric fans. I put my hand behind it while idling, and I can't believe how much flow is coming off these fans...

Went to "Pull a Part" today, picked up a "free" Hydroboost

Good deal! All the junkyards around here rape you big time...I bet that stuff would have cost well over $100 over here. IDK if theres any discount thats dependant on which type of person you are going on here if you know what I mean, but I bet there is. No way most of these people could afford...

    lower temp fan clutch

Exactly some people say they are not sure the fan is locking up...When it locks up at 2000+ rpm you will hear it, unless you do have really bad hearing. Sounds just like a MACK truck.

    lower temp fan clutch

+1 Stock fan works great for daily driving, but towing up hills, it won't lock up until engine starts getting very hot. Then it stays locked on fine and cools it right down. Just need it to lock up a little sooner. So what you're saying is you can lock it for towing, and then when you're...

    TRUCK WOULDN'T START THIS MORNING

The lift pump is the fuel pump that we replaced a short while back... I can't believe your WTS light didn't come on, that controller is brand spanking new.

    Where to get injector parts?

Hello all. We changed all the injectors, GP, & GP relay on the truck, (whoo big job... autolites were in there, with relay stuck on!) but when we did the return lines the kit came with a 90 degree (cap?) where it was just a single inlet cap, so we reused the single line one. Now after we throw...

Turning up the pump....are we wrong??

Someone said that the inlet screw is a high elevation screw, and that if you want smoke, thats your ticket. You only need to turn it no more than 1/4 turn in. I do want more smoke, but I have not messed with this one yet. Other two screws are maxed, and smoke is still see-thru. (unless bogging...

    Fuel adjustment

So, from what I have gathered from this site, is that there are 2? fuel screws on the IP. Is this correct? Does anybody know the difference between the external screw and the internal one? I might start messing around with the external one later today. I have read all Zigg's stuff, I don't...

    NewTruck Questiones

OK that's what I thought. I already read most of those articles, The only one that is relevant to my question is Fuel system overhaul. It does not answer my origional question.

It does have a pyro and boost guage already installed. The most boost I've seen (floored for quite some time) was 7 or 8 psi. Pyro was at about 800. It'll make a tiny puff of smoke for a half a second if you punch it on the freeway, and it hits passing gear. Where is the How-To section?

    NewTruck Questiones

One of my firends just picked up a 93 F-350 4 door Longbed 7.3 Turbo. It only has 119K, but he did pay quite a price for it. We replaced the starter batteries and glowplugs right when we got it, and it does come to life very fast now. (Hold starter no more than a second.) Anyway, Since he has...
